Saw Goos-RV on interstate 90W and needed a light that had broken earlier that day. Pulled in the parking lot with our fifth wheel at 4:15pm. There were cars in the parking lot, but when I approached the door, I noticed a sign showing closed, it didn't list any closing times. As I turned to walk away my wife saw someone put another sign with tape on the door below the closed sign. I couldn't read it so I returned to be closer and it stated "No overnight parking. We only service what we sell". Luckily it wasn't an emergency, I just felt it was extremely rude to see a potential customer on a Friday afternoon, obviously traveling and not ask if everything wa ok. And then add that sign on the door as though we were going to camp there. Pray you are not force in an emergency at closing time to need help from Goos-RV, buyer beware.
So, our experience was really good. The front main lady is pretty busy and pretty straight forward and I think some people take that for rude. Personally they were great hooked us up with a good deal, put the fifth wheel in for us and did an excellent overview of the entire camper. We bought an older camper for under $5k and they treated us like we were spending $30k+! We will be going back when ready to upgrade this one. Oh and this camper we put a % down and they held it for us for almost 3 mths no charge for the storage.
Extremely inconsiderate. Not willing to help us on ONE camper we wanted to see the inside of. Retired boss wasnt even willing to get out of his chair to let an actual employee know we needed assistance. He made it very clear by saying, "even if you were here to buy ten campers, i wouldnt help you". Needless to say after waiting for ANYONE to help us, we left. NOT worth even looking at the sign and thinking about turning into there.
Con Artists. Bought a NEW camper that leaked in 3 (That's right, 3 different places). Found the leaks 2 days after pulling it home. They are very unhelpful. At one point the lady answering the phone told me it wasn't their problem and I would have to talk to the manufacturer directly about the warranty. I added accessories that they refuse to pay back. They have cost me money is transportation and days off and stole money from me from the accessories I purchased that I guess they feel entitled to keep for whatever reason. Buyer be aware you are dealing with crooks. They want to sell, take your money, and if you call for help they either don't answer the phone or don't return you call for days. I called and they didn't answer, called within the next 2 minutes with a blocked number and they answered right away. I haven't been this unsatisfied with customer service ever. I got taken. Don't end up like me. Go anywhere else
We didn't even get to go look at campers! Rude customer service over the phone! She insisted we tell her exactly what camper we wanted to look at when there were 2-3 we were interested in. She asked me on the phone if I was willing to give up my life for a sale because I told them we were on our and be there at 5:45 and they closed at 6. We were buying and she didn't even care or let someone know. Very disrespectful and didn't seem to care at all we wanted to come and look even though we only could then and we made it clear we were buying!
